Baseball is an American sports. It's not an international sports. Where cricket is an international sports. At least 12 countries play international cricket regularly. I really doubt whether there is any other country which is interested in baseball like USA.
Have you heard the truth about cricket in USA? There was an international cricket team in USA but after constant failure to qualify as a standard cricket team and due to breaking laws set by ICC, the team has been banned from international cricket. So I personally think the future of cricket in USA is dark.

Too bad Americans can't compete with other nations in either cricket or baseball.

There are actually quite a few cricket clubs in the US, but unfortunately, the game will be no where near as popular as baseball. Many of my American friends think that cricket is boring - no matter how much we try to explain the game to them.

There are Americans who play Cricket, and it's nowhere near as popular as baseball (so unpopular that most people think that nobody in the U.S. plays Cricket)

Baseball beyond any doubt as it is the most favourite game in America now. It take long time to get cricket popularised in America.

although cricket is certainly more exciting than baseball, baseball is an all time American culture, and many many millions and millions of people just love it despite its dullness (including me). o yeah and the yankees, nuff said, lol

Baseball of course though women beach volley ball is not lagging behind and may take over the spot soon.
