My hostels to choise from are The Generator , Meininger City Hostel and Globetrotter Inns. Can anyone tell me more info about this 3 hostels and the area of each hostel? Thanks for helping.

Russell Square is great because it's near the British Miuseum, and there's a Tube station close.

Out of those 3, Russell Square is EASILY the closest to the 'West End', which is the name for the center of London where all the sights, bars, clubs and shops are.

South Kensington is much smarter and more expensive and if you dont have much money you couldnt afford to eat out round there ALTHOUGH it IS right next to 3 or 4 of the biggest and most famous museums in Britain, if you like going to museums.

DONT STAY in Hammersmith. Its ugly, its on a motorway, there is NO sightseeing round there and it smells of petrol fumes from all the traffic. Avoid it.

Hope that helps
