via satellite, or depending on where you live, there might be companies that offer wireless broadband services that don't require any lines to be ran to your house.

Sounds like you want a wireless broadband connection. A cable provider and set you up. You will need a modem, a router and a wireless card for the PC.

all I can think of is go to your local library and use theirs. I don't know a lot, but I'm pretty sure you need either a phone or cable access to have internet.
