What is lovE?
Do you believe in it?
If it comes with pain,
Would you forfeit?
I know I wouldn’t
‘Caused I believed again
That love is rare bur true
That there is no pain, no gain
When I was little,
I thought my life was perfect, everything
But after a brush with reality?
Really, it’s eye-opening
I then became a cynic
Looked for a reason every good deed
My negativity ate me up
Which was once just a seed
But I started believing again
I don’t know why or how
Maybe it was just something you said
That kept me high
Love is built on trust and respect
Hardships strengthen it bit by bit
And I’d accept love with pain
As long as you’re there to keep me sane
I know love is rare
I know that love is true
But would it work,
For me and you

That is very beautiful, yes its good to make the positive out of negative because if we didn't we would have nothing to live for. Keep smiling and moving forward you luck and positivity will come back to you and you will end up happy. Take care Heather

You've expressed a lot of feelings in this lovely poem. But, it
sounds like you've been burned (hurt) two or more times, and
you are a bit hesitant about getting involved with a new beau.
It sounds like you met a new guy, but are afraid to give your
heart to him---you've already suffered heartbreak.

you've expressed multiple thoughts in this surprising poem. yet, it form of feels mutually with you've been burned (harm) 2 or more effective circumstances, and also you're incredibly hesitant about transferring into contact with a sparkling beau. it form of feels mutually with you met a sparkling guy, yet are afraid to furnish your heart to him---you've already suffered heartbreak. this can probable be an top notch poem!!!!
