Inzamam-ul_Haq (the captain of Pakistan cricket team) has already declared his retirement from ODIs. I beleive he is still a good enough player. Not as captain but as player he is special. What do u think should he retire from both forms of cricket straight away?

I think he has made a great decision. I was expecting his announcement even before the world cup coz I know he is a thorough gentleman and knows the intricacies of the cricket game, specially the one day game. He is an excellent cricketer there is absolutely no doubt about it and also a great leader. If Pakistan could not perform well in the world cup it does not mean he is not a good captain any more. I believe he should continue to play in test matches for another 2 years or so as Pakistan needs him very much. My best wishes for the gentle giant always!!

No, he should not retire completely. He has at least one to two years left in Test cricket, and not playing all the ODIs will mean he could last even longer maybe. He is vital to the Pakistan team, and the players obviously respect him greatly as an inspiring figure.

I think Inzamam-ul_Haq made the right choice of retiring from ODIs because he is 37 years old.

I fully agree with you that it is time for him to retire from ODI as age is not in his side for this forkm or cricket. However, he can continue to play test match for one or 2 more years.

I think all players who have been playing since 1992 world cup should retire now like Sachin,Jayasuria,Inzy.
And of course Lara is retiring after world cup.

I disagree that he is a good player. After the death of his coach, he seemed to retire (at least that's what they said on the news).

i agree with his decision although i think he was a great captain. he made the players listen to him, and he taught them not to be stiff men. he's a great batsman, i dont think he should retire from both forms,

Yes, because he was 37 yrs old and his fitness was not supported him for playing in cricket.
