Is freedom of the press freedom of the truth ?

Well the interesting unknown property about truth, is that it can lie.

I have noticed that the greatest tool of the deception that some media types use, is telling truths but not the whole truth.

So the question:

Is freedom of the press, freedom of the truth ?

Unfortunately, the mainstream Western media (and the Israeli media) regard the freedom of the press as "freedom" to tell lies and half truths.
