Hypothetically, it's hard enough to handle one woman alone, with all the emotional ups and downs, why seek the multiple difficulties, unless one lives within a culture that supports that kind of relationship? Ideally a couple is devoted to each other and compliment each other in a way that no other relationship can do. Seems to me that poligamy breeds a superior/inferior set of dynamics between the sexes and not the mutual satisfaction type of thing. Me, I'd love to be surrounded by loving beauties if they would not compete against each other and be jealous, etc... FAT CHANCE!!!

Your heart can only truly belong to another. And in that case, how can you look at your wife, and love her with all you have in you, and then willing sleep with another woman? Your heart was not made to split in two when it comes to marriage and multiple partners. That is why affairs are so devistating to marriages. Even if the women say they are okay with it, having more than one wife would only cause uncertainty amoung the wives, jealousy, feelings of incompetance, and so forth. Your wives would end up with low self esteem, and you would have women that no longer truly cared about pleasing you in the end as they would, through time, feel like there would be nothing they could do to please you as they could not please you on their own, so now, they are no longer needed at all. They may still do things for you, but most women would do it out of necessity, and not niceness. Imagine your life in the reversal, and your wife has more than one husband. Wouldn't you start to feel bested? Inferior? Unwanted?

Its not hypothetical where I live. I've never seen a happy man with more than one wife. Finding fulfillment with one is rare enough.

I don't believe there is any real chance at finding a sense of 'oneness' with a woman ... in polygamy.

From what I can tell, men are just wired for one (1) emotional partner. They may struggle over desires for multiple sexual partners; but that doesn't change the reality of their emotional make-up.

ARE YOU CRAZY!!! It's hard to keep one person satisfied. There are enough problems to worry about with only 2 people in a relationship. Imagine having 3 crazy wives, one of which is extremely naggy. One is very dependant and needs help making decisions and the other is ocd. There will always be one that you would favor more than the others. They will know who your fave is by how you treat them. Now with ONLY that said-how happy do you think you would be????

Would it be OK if she could have have 3 or more men, bigger, badder, stronger, more handsome, hung like a Clydesdale horse, starting to see my point? Hypothetically of course

Definitely a big NO NO. What if the rule is changed. A woman is allowed to hv more than 1 husband. Would you, as the husband, feel betrayed if your wife adds on to her collection? This is not just about physical love. A marriage is about everything. Respecting each other's feelings, trust, space, etc.

I would be very very tempted but I have been married for 12 years so I know as much as my male parts would want to my mind tells me the trouble would not be worth the pleasure.

Why on earth would you want more than one? Double or triple the nagging? Or when you get divorced can they only take a third? And will your other wives have to pay also? Just hypthetical.

Most husbands can not handle/satisfy one woman what are they going to do with more than one? I feel it would be better if we could have multiple husbands. Then maybe us wives would be finally satisfied in the bedroom.

I couldn't do it. To me it is about being faithful to that one person, even if it was acceptable in everyone elses' eyes. I think adding more would cheapen the relationship.
