You can't get the pill without a prescription.
You also have to consider STDs. The pill does not protect against them and guys LIE.
Nothing guarantees against pregnancy. Even the pill is 99% effective. You could be that 1% that gets pregnant.
It takes one month for the pill to be effective. You would have to use condoms to be safe from pregnancy and STDs.
If I were you, I would wait. You don't sound ready to have sex. You'll get pregnant or get an STD. Do you really want to be dead before you're 20? HIV is increasing in people your age.

Just a question I'm asking out of curiosity. Why would you want to do something so risky - if you're not ready or willing to live with the consequences? NOTHING is 100% effective, except not having $ex at all. You're so young, you've got your whole life ahead of you. Wait until you're ready to accept the fact that you COULD get pregnant before having $ex.

Nope, nothing you can buy yourself... I would hope that if you just have to do it use a condom but abstating is the best practice.
Sorry to say but you are asking are there any pills out there to keep you from getting pregnant when you need to understand you mind frame isn't even ready for that yet! If you had to ask then you shouldn't do it!
Just my 3 more cents.... speak to your parents or someone that can at least give you more knowledge....

Sweetie the only person who can prescribe contraceptive pills is a doctor. Now there are other methods of Birth control that can be as effective as the pill.
Specifically Condems and Foam or Spermicides.

You really need to go to the Doctor as going on the pill requires them to check your blood pressure and put you on the correct pill for you. Whatever you say to the Doctor is completely confidential.

Yes, Birth Control. But you need to see a DR. first.
Or you can buy Aspirin. They work too. Just place it between your knees.
If you are NOT protected, you should NOT be having sex. Remember the is NO 100% effective BC if you are having intercourse.

So, you are worried about pregnancy, about your parents and dr's reactions.... but not about diseases? I know you want to have sex... but it really doesnt sound like you're ready yet. If you're not ready to be a mommy... or contract an STD, then maybe you should wait a bit.

There isn't anything you can buy over the counter to prevent pregnancy. Your best bet would be to go to a clinic. Most clinics wont tell your parents and you can go free of charge.

go to your doctor as you are 16 and it is confidential so he can NOT tell your parents. you will have to go so your GP can per scribe you pills and tell you when to take them and so on its safer option. trust me its worth doing i did it especially if you dont want to get pregnant just dont be shy and make that appointment!
