OJ, not really, but taking Vitamin C in pill or even powder form which is better, can do A LOT to help your body ... too much, in fact, to list them, but if you to go www.mercola.com & search for Vitamin C, you'll find a plethora of info on how beneficial it is ... even for preventing disease and helping those who have diseases already.

Actually it does- The main factor is the number of mg. Located on the bottle of Vitamin C pills- you must take at least 1,000 mg daily to maintain a healthy immune system. I wouldn't mess with O.J. because it contains to many acids that can slowly cause the body harm.

its wishy washy as you can see from the varying responses, i lean towards no personally. but vitamin C is pretty safe so it really doesnt hurt to try if you beleive in that stuff. if youre deficient in vitamin C, yes it may make you less susceptible to illness. but most people are not. i know there was a study as well that was conducted on soldiers under a lot of physical stress training in harsh conditions that found taking vitamin C supplements decreased sickness, but there isnt much evidence that it actually does much good for an average person like you or me who isnt training for marathons or chasing terrorists around in the artic circle. if youre interested i can probably dig up the citation for the soldier study, but if youre not im not going to bother. it is an effective antioxidant though and some scientists think that intake of antioxidants might slightly reduce your risk of cancers. and free radicals are mostly confined to the inside of your cells, they dont really damage your immune system to my knowledge

No, they do not actually boot the immune system, but they will help make your immune system more effective. The vitamin C in tablet form or via juice, are very good for helping your body reducing free radicals in your body. Free radicals are very taxing on our bodies immune systems. The fewer free radicals in the body, the more the body has to fight off diseases and illnesses. Juice is much better than pills or tablets too. Fruits and veggies babbbyyy!

Hi,
Have you ever heard of Himalayan Goji Juice? The immune system is your body’s armed forces! More than 40 years of research have revealed goji’s ability to regulate immunity by commanding and controlling many of the body’s important defense functions. Goji polysaccharides enhance and balance the activity of all classes of immune cells’ including T-cells, cytotoxic T-cells, lysozyme, tumor necrosis factor-alpha and the immunoglobulins lgG and lgA.

Yes, Vit. C is an imuno-booster!
There are lots of other things that support your immune system as well, i.e. all things green and leafy.
If you can make yourself sick by what you eat, you can likewise make yourself well by what you eat!
Any one who says what you eat/ingest does not effect your health is severely ignorant!
