I'm hearing different recommendations: some say he's supposed to be bathed with a spray water daily while others claim this is not necessary.
They're desert animals so I'm assuming they don't need a spray wash.

I've read the different recommendations to but for my 2 very happy and healthy Breaded Dragons I spray them with a water bottle and even have a swallow pan they splash around in. We live in Florida so in the hotter months they love the sprinkler! In the winter 2-4 months they stay indoors. They're ok in their cage but they prefer to be in the screened-in Florida room, splashing around in their water!

Usually "misting" with a spray water bottle is good enough for bearded dragon to keep them a little hydrated. You can do this everyday or every other day. An adult would probabily need a bit more than a baby in my opinion.

I think bathing them in water (in a tub) is better than soaking them with a bottle. My beardy is a young adult and loves bath as long as I keep the water at the right temperature, and they feel relaxed and clean just like people... but yes they are desert animals so perhaps it isn't as necessary.

When it's a baby bath it twice a day in an inch of luke warm to slightly warm water to keep it from getting dehydrated. After it's about a year old you can probably start bathing it everyother day. If your basking temp is on the hot side like 105 to 110 then you should really be consistant with the bathes as they can get dehydrated and stop eating.

Spraying is not necessary if you bath them, but if you don't bath them then you should mist them twice a day but not in there enclosure.

Most bearded dragons won't drink from a water bowl thus the need to bath or mist them.

They don't need a BATH with the spray bottle. They do however, need to be watered with it so they can be kept hidrated and live because all animals need to have water and animals won't die if they are not bathed. I never gave my Bearded Dragons a spray bottle bath and they are perfectly fine.

I honestly dont do it that often and have had my dragon for 6 years. Letting him sit in an inch of lukewarm water in the tub can't hurt though and misting him is fine too.
