I think it is healthy- depending on how its made. If you get less sauce, add more veggies, moderate cheese and forgo anything like BBQ topping, bacon or stuff like that it is good for you. heck they even make veggie pizza.
I for one like a plain cheese pizza with mushrooms... but pizza in general, like any other food, can be bad for you if eatn in excess...

Pizzas great but so unhealthy. The bread is drenched in oil grease ewwwwwww. The sauce isn't one of the best things to eat either. The cheese does get it protein so if u eat for breakfast but don't warm it up it's not bad. but then when u have toppings its normally greasier.

It depends on what brand of pizza you buy. I wouldn't recommend eating ANY pizza from Pizza Hut or Domino's because they are so greasy. Here in Atlanta, Georgia, where I'm from, they have like 6 or 7 locations of a small restaurant chain called Fellini's Pizza. They charge by the slice, which is a REALLY big slice from $2.05 to $3.00. Their pizza is off da meat rack! (That's the Atlanta way of saying, "Their pizza is REALLY, REALLY delicious!) Their pizza is not as greasy as those fast food pizzas!

I don't like Pizza Hut pizza, because of the fat and grease. The best pizza I have EVER eaten, was from a chain called Eureka Pizza. It was kinda dry, no grease, and was very flavorful. Had meat and small amount of cheese, and was very good.

Never really gave much thought to the notion of pizza being health food. More like junk food, really, esp w/ the fattening cheese and sausage and pepperoni combos. College roommate would sop up the puddling grease w/ a paper napkin just so he wouldn't eat it.

Pizza is full of grease and unless you order light sauce and cheese and only have veggies on it then you can't even try to say it's healthy!

In order for you to eat it you would probably only be allowed 1 piece and you would need to dab all the grease off of it to save yourself some calories.
It isn't healthy for you even though it contains all the food groups. Like anything pizza should be consumed in moderation which like I said usually is only 1 piece because of all the calories and fat.

That bread is drenched in oil to make that dough. It depends on the pizza. Some gourmet pizzas are actually ok for you if you eat the right portion.

There is too much oil and grease involved, but I do agree that it should be. I mean...
Dairy= Cheese
Dough = Grain
Vegetables= Tomatoes and if ur crazy: peppers/onions/olives
Meats = Pepperoni/sausage/Ham
and for the people BEYOND abnormal:
Fruits: pineapple.
MMmmm....Pizza!! Sooo hungry!
