We have a fancy dress party.Chits were made and kept in a bowl.Everyone had to pick a chit and come as whatever was mentioned on the chit.
My chit says...HINDU GIRL.
What do I wear?
I am an Indian guy from Mumbai.What do I have to wear if I go as a gujurati girl or a maharashtrian girl?"
Saree seems to be the popular choice.
Do I need to wear jew and make up and bindi and stuff.What is absolutel essential.My friend says kajal and bindi is a must to look girlie.

ok rani.dress up as a south indian girl.You may look very charming and beautiful.Go to a shop.Buy a good looking saree,bra and panties,heels,long hair(not short.long must for a good looking hindu girl),bangles,earrings,and other ornaments(may not be gold).shave your hair on your body.kajal and bindi are must .Go to a beaty parlour and have a facial,get your eyebrows lined and they will make you really RANI.ok lol.all thye best Rani.put your photos in net and let me see them

Wow, that's really wonderful....U kno generally the boys tease saying the girls take a lot of time to dress-up, sorry but i think they should get a chit like this to feel the reason behind that, well, let me answer u......Wax ur hands(dnt need legs wen ur wearng saree), thread ur eyebrows and face...do facial....and before a saree u can wear a skirt or jeans to act as petticoat and then ask someone to wrap the saree nicely so that it gives u a pure Indian desi look...Dnt forget kajal,eyeliner, lipliner, lipstick, bindi and last but not the least bangles....I am sure being a guy in reality, if u make urself a perfect Hindu girl u will find lot of deewanas running after u,......not a joke u want to feel like a Hindu girl from within....it needs lot of courage to perform the best.........well, ALL THE BEST Rani........

Well, if you are wearing a sari then you need to wear a skirt first that is tight and won't come down. Ask someone to help you wrap it, pleating it as you go before putting it over your shoulder. Make sure you are wearing a t-shirt that has been cropped short. Watch the scene in "Bending it Like Beckham" where she gets back into her sari after playing soccer!
You should wear a bindi - remembering that red is for married women, so wear black for an unmarried girl. I'm not sure what kajal is, but I''m thinking you mean eyeliner. If so, draw UNDER your eyelashes, not on the lid itself as that can damage your eyes if you slip.
You'll need a wig so that you can have long hair in a plait, too!
You could use henna to paint patterns on your hands, and then there is nailpolish if you like.
LOL - have fun!!!!!

it is not necessary to wear a saree even if ur trying to look like a hindu girl or any bindi in that case.u can try any ladies western outfit n beads necklace the long one, a little use of kohl pencil n vaseline lipguard n work as a gloss.try to be a modern indian girl , where do see girls wearing saree even if they r hindu muslim or whatever.

Saree is the best option.If its difficult for u to handle saree then salwar suit is the next option.Wear lots of bangles.Jewels and bindi is a must for u to look like an Indian girl.

Man u sure did type the same question many times....
I suggest u to be a homely one wearing a Saree. Jewels is a must and of course bindhi,a little make up(to make u look like a girl)also make sure to do ur eyes with some kajal and other accessories, wear a wig, also don't forget to wear proper slippers,Make sure that ur jewels match ur Saree(or else u'll be the awkward one in ur party).

It depends on what type of party u'll be attending.
For a cool party ,jeans or salwar suits will look chic & for a formal party ,it is definitely a saree.
Little make-up,eyeliner,blush-on,lipstick, & a suitable hair style will make u look like a perfect hindu girl.

saree rapped in macchi wali istyle would be a good one for you.U should put a bindi on u'r forehead and a bit of lipstick or gloss would be a good option.
