What does this have to do with Republicans? I seem to recall more than half of the government being Democrats. I also seem to recall this going on long before Bush was elected into office. This has nothing to do with Republican or Democrat. This has to do with the commanding officers at these military hospitals putting this problem aside. Nothing more.

Frankly, I don't know what 'we support our troops' means any more. Putting a bumper sticker on the car? Telling people with different opinions that they're traitors?
Here's how my family supports the troops, and we're all firmly anti-war. We:
- volunteer at a local VA hospital
- support the USO
- send care packages to soldiers in Iraq and Afghanistan
Putting a bumper sticker on your car, or saying "I support the troops" doesn't cut it, folks. Put some actions behind those words.

Whoa! Wait a minute. Isn't it the Democrat controlled senate who is refusing to increase military funding so they can meet those needs. Republicans want the increase military funding. I don't know what article you plagurized but your not telling the whole story.

I am more concerned that Congress is going on their 2 week spring break before funding for the troops is completed. They will still be on vacation when current funding runs out.

no this is how the entire country repubs and dems are failing our troops. there is nothing stopping us all from pulling together and making our gov from supporting them and even VOLUNTEERING OUR OWN SERVICES!!!!!
