Such an event is pretty rare but sometimes happens when the sea is millpond still - sorry, do not know what this is called. When I lived at the coast in the 1950s this happened sometimes of a summer's night and the sea would be lit up by the stars above so that both sea and sky merged - a wonderful sight but rare. See it and die.

I saw it once..at the seaside...it was afternoon..the sun was going down..and it was acctually like ..heaven there...and guess God did it..
