At work for lunch I would love to bring some kimchee, sushi, or just a plain rice ball...I enjoy eating food from my ethnic background but dont want to be talked about. I live in a small town where people are quick to judge...Would you do it though?

I'm sure people are already talking about how SMOKING HOT you are, so eat all that weird crap you want and don't worrie about it.

Absolutely you should. You should take pride first in your heritage and enjoy your food. My wife is Japanese and she has cooked Japanese food that I have taken to lunch. People may be curious at first but it will wear off. Being of Puerto Rican descent, when I bring something that is different, some people comment on the smell of the food and think that it's a Puerto Rican dish but 9 out of 10 times it's something from an American cook book. The main point is that people are going to have preconceived opinions regardless of what you eat. Hold your head up high and be proud. By the way, I am a big fan of Kimchi, especially Kimchi ramen.

I would because who cares what they think. It only matters what you think. Just do what makes you happy. If eating sushi is what you like to eat. Go eat it. If you was going to die tomorrow, you would be like I should have ate my suchi and kimchee for lunch.

DO IT!!

DURING HIGH SCHOOL, MY MOM WOULD PACK ME LUNCHES AND SOME OF MY FRIENDS WOULD LAUGH AND THINK IT'S WEIRD AND EVEN TALK CRAP. BUT AT THE END OF THE DAY...WHO REALLY CARES? JUST BRUSH THEM OFF. THEY'RE NOT REALLY IMPORTANT ANYWAY!
