Here ya go... When i am on explorer i go to webpages and such i can click on links and for the most part surf the web... until i get to a button that is Java Script at least i think it is that... also automatic drop down menus that should drop when my cursor moves over the top of the menu those drop menus don't drop... so then i can't use the menus... it really is upsetting.... i can't even get the things done that i need too... i updated to Internet Explorer 7 thinkin if a file or so was missing then it would be reinstalled... well that was a no go... most of the time i can't download anything because it won't automatically try to download... oh also Active X messages don't ever come up... ummm so... help

You should get Java> http://java.com/en/download/index.jsp
If you have Java it will ask you to verify install. If you don't, it will ask you to download it, then verify.

Then on the Internet Options, Security tab, Reset all zones to default level.

To turn on JavaScript:
In FireFox (Much better browser by the way):
Tools>Options>Content>check "Enable JavaScript

In MS IE:
Open Internet Explorer.
On the Tools menu, click Internet Options.
On the Security tab, click Internet.
Click Custom Level.
Scroll down to Active scripting.
Click Enable
Click OK.
Click Yes.
Click OK

Or it may not be installed (for some reason). If the above methods don't work, try to install it:

Check to see if your Java Scripting is enabled by clicking tools,internet options,security,custom level and then scroll down to Javascripting and see if it,is enabled.

In internet.....go to tools---internet options--advanced---enable(check the box) the "display the notification about every script error"..taht will solve ur problem....

sometimes java needs to be updated and or re installed so try updating first if that does not work than delete it from ur system and reinstall it from scratch
