Myler Bits are deffinitly one of the best crafted shanked bit series out there...they are a little more expensive but they are deffinitly worth it...Just be careful when using shanked bits..you can either make or break your horse by putting a certain bit in their mouths...remember, a horse should be able & willing to do anything in a snaffle, shanked bits should only be used to enhance something that has already been trained into a horse using a snaffle...Never use a shanked bit as a quick fix..it will haunt you later..Happy Trails!

I have used the Myler Bits by Toklat and I really like them. The "real" Myler Bits that a lot of old school western people remember I have never used.

I like any of the Myler bits that have independant sides and the pressure to bring a horses head down. I have tried a combination bit and I did not like it on my horse.

I have used (and sold) the Mylars and they are a good bit, but I personally prefer the Turbo Lifter bits, since they take so much pressure off of the mouth.
