If you have them both on the computer will use the faster of the 2, ethernet before wireless....

I have both on for my laptop and noticed when the ethernet card is in heavy usage, the wireless card will start to take some of the load....especially when I access my network......

Open task manager.....

Right click an empty space in the bar at the bottom of your screen

click task manager

click the networking tab

you should be able to see both the wireless and ethernet usage history while you browse....set the update history to slow...click on view, update speed, set to slow.....

You won't be able to use internet access at the same time. You could use one, then switch to another, but your computer will only have 1 ip address and thus the same download speed.
