Is it me or is fashion going mad? We're going back, the stuff we used to wear in the 60's are now back! Are we ever going to go forward or are we just gonna keep going further back into our time?

ur right and doesnt it make us quite sad that we laugh at photos of our parents dressed in dated gear and then a month later when its on the catwalk and topshop we all go out and buy it? I actually have a very individual style and dont conform to what the fashion mags tell me which is just as well as my kids could have a right laugh at my expense in 20 years! not to mention how much i would need to spend every season to keep up with the latest trend!!! jeans and a few tops and skirts thats all you need!

I think fashion has gotten so much better... I mean yes, some of the things you see are a little out there but, it's actually evolving. I think you might be looking at the wrong designers.. Try looking at Marc Jacobs and Chloe winter 06/07 and spring 07. They are really making an effort to make the clothes practical and wearable.

You are absolutely right! I think the fashion industry is running out of designs...apparently the funkiest cool styles are the most expensive ones but real people don't wear it...the models may look good in it! foward means backwards with a little change...I just don't want to go back to the eighties hair do! lol

I don't think we're going completly back to the 60s. I think we are more incorporating some old school things with a more modern feel.
Basic concept is to appeal to more than just the modern people but also to the older generation as well.

i know i love the 60's and the 80's there are coming back i look at this way either you have fashion in you blood like i do or you dont i think it's cool were bringing back -stuff from back in the day

I agree. But I've also been seeing some weird stuff. Fashion everywhere is so different. It seems like USA changes way more than other countries.

Fashion is going crazy. I think people should try something new instead of bringing back the stuff that alreaday died!!!

Fashion is about changing what we know for how we use it today. Humans are pretty limited by what they have seen to create new things that is why designers like Versace are so rare - a truly luminous light to quickly dimmed from our sight.

yep if u pay attention, they always recycle something from the past periodically, when they can`t think of something new to design!!! fashion kinda goes in a never-ending circle...u go round & round & eventually end up where u started!!!
