I'm almost in week 11 of my pregnancy. I'm really happy and excited of course, but just wondering when the fatigue will pass. I feel so sleepy, especially in the afternoons and napping isn't an option. I'm doing everything else right, and I get a good amount of sleep at night. Thanks x

I was so sleepy until i hit about 13 weeks. Then i was fine. But i'm 24 weeks now and i'm getting back to the tired stage. I go home from work and lay around and pass out at about 730/8 pm. It should pass and you'll feel great. But it could come back

I was really tired every day until about 16 weeks, now at 26 weeks I have good days and bad days. My mom says I'll be completely wiped out for the next 20 years or so. hah. thanks mom. Anyway, the amount of good days that I have now is higher then the bad, and it really makes a difference if I get outside and get some exercise during the day. I know it sounds impossible with the way you are feeling right now, but the exercise really will give you more energy.

I am at 22 weeks. The morning sickness stopped for me at about 12-13 weeks. I haven't been as tired, BUT there are still days when I am absolutely exhausted even though I slept enought the night before and like am doing everything else right. GOOD LUCK!!!

I haven't had a good nights sleep where I don't feel like i need a nap in 36 months!! My oldest is 2.5 years but I found out I was preggers with her in april of 2004... that's when I got sleepy and it never went away. lol I figure I might get a good nights sleep in 2010. That's when both girls will be in school, but they I dought it will happen then!!

Hi there! Another 11 weeker here and I am just as tired! Try getting up and walking around every hour or so (if your job allows you to be able to do this), get some fresh air and a change of scenery... it always makes me feel better!

Spoke to a friend today who says it goes away for the second trimester and comes back in the third... so we will see how it goes! Good luck... hang in there! There's a very worthwhile reward coming up in October!

I was extremely exhausted through the first trimester but gradually got my energy back around 14 weeks. I'm 18 weeks now and still get tired if I have a busy period during the day. Shopping trips and visitors still wear me out but I can get through work without falling asleep now.

The sleepiness will pass once the child moves out of your house for good.
