he didn't predict the world would end in 2012, no one did. the mayans calendar ended there but that's not a marker for the end of the world. he said it would end around 3725 or something like that. most of you have missed the point, we are on the verge of a third world war and us is planning to attck iran evidnet by this http://www.cnn.com/2007/WORLD/meast/03/27/us.gulf.ap/index.html
once again you YA guys who think your holier than everyone else have gotten it wrong. all one must do is look at the evidence, there are runmblings of them sneaking weapons into iraq and then enriching uranium for nuclear bombs. all in an effort to convince the world war is the answer. the mid-east region is the holy land spoken of in the bible and if you are religous then you must believe there will be consequences for any nation who attacks it. the US has broken the geneva conventions and the idea of a pre-emptive strike on a nation that has no means to attck you is a gross misuse of power.

Mike - Just in case all these predictions are wrong, you need to live your life as if the world (as we know it) isn't ending in five years.

Doesn't that kind of match up with the Christians prediction of the Second Coming?? I'm not sure, but I think it was 2012 but I don't really remember what I heard about their prediction.

Even scarier, Nostradamus' predictions stopped when reaching 2012, the same year that the ancient Mayan calendar ends.
The next 5 years may be the last 5. Don't postpone joy!

So, Nostradamus got a few right. Do you know of the hundreds he got wrong? War may not occur with Iran, so don't go digging a hole for a bomb shelter yet.

Nope not scared. He was late wasn't he? Bush started world war 3 when he invaded Afghanistan and then Iraq - and he's determined to continue it this year - just watch what's about to happen in Iran in the next few months.

And ten years ago the quatrain was interpreted to be 1999... I find his "Prophecies" amusing, but they are worded so openly that they can be construed to apply to many, many, things.
