Test any suggestion on a hidden area to make sure it does not affect the finish! Alcohol is too weak, try WD-40 on a rag or GooGone available at hardware stores.

Use mineral oil or an oil base furniture polish like liquid gold. Will not harm the finish and will defiantly remove tape residue

I am almost 100% sure this will work...It also works on items that you cannot get a price tag off....Just get some furniture polish and spray on area and rub with a wash cloth and or fingers...you may need to re-spray and alow to sit for a few min...but it should be pretty easy to remove after this...good luck...

Try Goo Gone. I think you can buy it at Wal-Mart, Target , Home Depot or Lowe's.

use a little bit of rubbing alcohol- works great
