In my box in the wall, I have two white wires wire nutted together, I also have two black wires, one going to the base board heater, and the other to power source. Can I put the two red wires with the black wire to power source, and the black wires with the wire going to the base board heater? The thermostat is heat only, and is rated for 125/240/277.

No you can't wire your thermostat the way you described.

The first thing you need to determine is if your heating circuit is 120 volts or 240 volts. If it is 120 volts, you have the wrong thermostat. You need to return your double pole thermostat and get a single pole thermostat.

If your heating circuit is 240 volts, you need to connect the black wire (power supply) to one of the line side wires on the thermostat. Then you need to connect the white wire (power supply) to the other line side wire on the thermostat.

Next you need to connect the black wire (to heater) to one of the load side wires on the thermostat. Finally, you need to connect the white wire (to heater) to the other load side wire on the thermostat.

Make sure you turn off the breaker or remove the fuse to this circuit before installing your thermostat.
