hey monday night is a full moon is it possible to go into labor and be close to the due date or what and i'll be 39wks the week of my due date which is next week but 40wks on the original which was april 14th what to do?????

Don't I wish that old wives tale was true!!! Unless that baby is ready it'd not coming out full moon or not :) Godd luck though I hope you have your baby soon. With a quick uncomplicated labor!!

I will also be 39 weeks pregnant at the time of the full moon on Monday! I was just searching on GOOGLE the articles about labor and full moons. I am actually inducing labor on Tuesday, so I am going to be so close, but I am wondering the same thing- will I go into labor on Monday? From what I've read you could start to experience stronger Braxton Hicks, and some articles said there was a greater chance of your water breaking. Who knows what the real statistics are, but I know when I went to my Childbirth class at the hospital, they had completely filled the nursery the night before due to a full moon. So hang in there! If not- at least you know there's only a week or two to go!

i have never heard of a full moon affecting labor. Congrats on your new bundle of joy. april 14th is my son's b day ^_^

they ( my mom and grandma) told me that i would go into labor on the full moon too, well the d@mn moon came and went and still no baby.......lol I had to be induced at 41 weeks
