I've been looking it up but I dont know if these ages are up to date. I want to know: if a 16 year old is dating a 21 year old, can he get arrested or into any type of trouble, or are they OK?

It's 16 under normal circumstances.
It's 18 if the older person is their guardian or otherwise responsible for the general supervision of the younger person's welfare like a teacher, coach, etc..
It's illegal if the older person is 20+ and stands in a position of power, authority or supervision over the younger person by virtue of their professional, legal, occupational or volunteer status and such other person's participation in a program or activity, and that person is under 18 years of age.
So, as long as the 21 year old is just a 'normal' guy and not in 'a position of power', it seems to be fine.

You would have to check for sure but in most states the age is 16

Well, two people can date without having sex. I don't know the age of consent in Conn. I suggest calling a lawyer.

If your under 18 you can only have sex with a politician.
