Coca cola - it dissolves grease and baked on food with all the sugar in it - we use to do it on really dirty restaurant hobbs. Recommend fairy as best washing up liquid.

I don't know about what washing up liquids are available in your area.
For really baked on food, try filling the vessel with water and add a few tablespoons of dishwasher detergent. Let it soak overnight, dump out the solution, and the mess will usually scrub off.

Dish washing liquid? I use Dawn because of it's grease cutting ability. As for really baked on food........soaking, sometimes over night. As for those misc spots that appear on baking dishes, well depends on dish material. Glass stuff like Pyrex I use steel wool or sometimes a knife or razor blade. Baking sheets and cake pans, I don't bother bringing them back to "newness" clean is enough. Metal pans I use a nonscratching "scrubber". For stubborn stains I may use Bon Ami cleanser or baking soda.

I use dawn dishwashing liquid. Poor some in the pan and add water, then boil for a few minutes. It should come off pretty easy after that. I also use a little tool from Kitchen Concepts, it is a little scraper. It works wonders.

Personally, I would recommend Dawn dish soap. They also have a direct kind of cleaner that doesn't require water to wash, just to rinse. If you use the regular dawn dish soap, please let the pan (or whatever the item is) soak for awhile with the start of HOT tap water, and some dawn dish soap. Then, with elbow grease (lots of scrubbing), with an sos steel wool pad, that should help to lcean it. Take care.

I use fairy, and that works for me.as to the really baked on food ,you need to put it in boiling water, and fairy and leave to soak, for 10-15 for really baked on food, and use a scourer(not on Teflon though, make sure you wear gloves for scouring as you could burn your skin)and scrub,if it's on Teflon then just get a good washing-up brush and brush.hope this helps.

The best way to clean a frying pan that has burned food cemented to the bottom is to let it soak in soapy water for several days and then, when nobody is looking, throw it in the garbage.
Hope this helps.
Note: A thumbs down? Some brainless person doesn't know a joke when they see one.

fairy. if stuff is really baked on make the water really hot and soapy and leave the dishes in there to soak for at least 10 or 15 mins. should make it a breeze to get off.
