Have you taken her temp? She may have an ear infection. Trust your instincts, if you feel something is wrong, then it may be true. I would recommend a trip to the doctor TODAY.

Take her to an emergency center immediately. This could be very serious. She obviously has a very high temp. All this sleep is not normal either. Trust me, this is an emergency, I would even call 911. I am a mother of two, they are both over 40 now, this is not a normal event.

Sounds like she's teething, my son is almost a year old and getting his 3rd tooth and he doesn't even want his bottle when he wakes up in the middle of the night. Are her gums swollen? Teething causes temperatures, so monitor it and give her baby tylenol up to 4x a day if the temp. stays. Also she might be sick, my son seems to have allergies since the weather is changing (we live in Georgia). If she doesn't have signs of teething, definately take her to your Pedi.

Have you checked for fever? It's quite possible that she's teething. My daughter started teething at 3 months. It was and still is a pain. Right now, she's cutting her jaw teeth and it's driving me crazy. As for growth spurts, my little one had one every two weeks until she was 6 months. Then it became a little slower. Each baby is different, so you can't always ask other parents what's wrong.

Ear infection. Take notice if you see her rubbing or pulling at her ear. Of course, you know she'll need antibiotics for that.

You might want to invest in a crib wedge so that her upper body is on a slight incline. It will help keep fluid from building up in her inner ear.

If she has fever, I would take her to the doctor or ER if ya can't be worked in. Sleeping more than what's norm for her can be a sign of her being sick, espec. w/fever. Is she lethargic? (meaning is she hard to wake from sleep, is limp, or has very little or no energy.) If so, take her to ER immediately. I'd rather play it safe when they're that small.

it could be several things...like teething, ear ache, a slight touch of the flu or a bug
I would get her an appointment at her drs. in the meantime
NEVER feel that somthing is sooo little that you can't have her seen by the dr.
this is how all moms are in the beginning and you sound like you are a very good and attentive/alert one!!!

4 months can be the beginning of teething time too. my son just turned 4 months and is beginning to act like that. he is also drooling like crazy!!! Every child is different and she can go through a growing spurt before the average child does. Mine tend to. I have 3. She should be fine nad you know her better than anyone.

Maybe she's teething? Check her gums if you see them bulging or swollen. Also if she's teething she might like to suck or bite down on your fingers once you check her gums, and she'll love if you massage it so you'll know. If you see signs of it you could use some teething gel or teething rings/ beads.
Maybe she has ear infection, if she has problem with sucking down the milk/formula from the bottle. Check if you have any other symptoms like fever or diarrheah!

Has she had a cold at all in the last week or so. Babies do not like to lie down when they have ear pain and they do not always have to have a fever.
get her checked if she is not her self, you don't want to miss anything.
