I have a problem with flies in my house, they just appear everyday in the upstaires hall. I have checked the loft for dead animals, pulled up carpets and floorboards to see if anything is there. There are no holes in the window and no rubbish near the house. Where could they be coming from. It'e been like this for 2 weeks already and ity's driving me nuts. These are big beasts too. It's so strange. Has anyone else had this problem, i just cannot think of how they are getting in...The thought of maggots in my home makes my skin crawl. i'm thinking of leaving it's so bad. They appear in droves.

Sounds like you have a toilet that isn't used much or has a bad trap. The flies will come right out of there this time of year. Make sure you flush every toilet in the house at least once a day or the water in the trap will evaporate and the flies will climb right up into your house.

I went to a restaurant once that put ziploc baggies full of water hanging near the windows to keep flies away. For whatever reason, that worked there. Give it a try...you have nothing to lose.

Do you live by a river or near a sewer or anything like that? Maybe they were hibernating in your house and now its warmer they've come out - my work normally get like that but not until the summer - they make me feel sick!

Spray the walls, curtains and carpets, behind pictures and inside light shades. There must be eggs hatching from somewhere.

You haven't got a cat have you, it might have brought a little friend home to play with and that could be the cause and mice can get almost anywhere
