Hannibal Rising (Thomas Harris): It explains why Hannibal Lecter became Hannibal the Cannibal, I wouldn't recommend it, unless you are a fan of the series, and even then it's not that good.

For one more day (Mitch Albom): It's the story about a man who gets one more day with his Mom who had already passed away in which he learns things about his life and himself. Moving.

Star Wars: Labyrinth of Evil - by James Luceno. The story takes place right before Revenge of the Sith and takes the reader right into the battle that happens in the opening scene of Revenge of the Sith. It tells the history of General Grievous and some background for Count Dooku as well. There are a few funny moments between Anakin & Obi wan. The ending is also quite scary/ exciting.

Star Wars: Revenge of the Sith -By Mathew Stover. Based on George Lucas's original screenplay, it tells the story of the fall of Anakin Skywalker. How he was seduced by the Dark side and turned against the Jedi, helped to destroy them, and became Darth Vader. I would highly recommend it to any Star wars fan..you get extra details about how everything went down. I've read a lot of the star wars novels and this is definitely one of my favourites.

"So You Want to Be a Wizard" about two kids in the '80's in New York who fall into becoming wizards, It is a series written in the 80's with eerily similar things to the Harry Potter Series only written beofre them. Harry Potter books are way better. And "N is for Noose" about a private investigator, Kinsey Millhone, who solves yet another crime. Very entertaining.

Just finished Fern Michael's Late Bloomer, it was ok, not the best Fern book I've ever read. Currently reading The Guardian by Nicholas Sparks, about half way through so far so good.

I read:
A Year in the Merde about a Brit who gets a job in Paris
Pretty funny
and
The Good German about an American reporter who goes back to Germany right after the war to find his lover and gets caught up in a murder mystery
Kind of depressing

Lord of the Flies - Some kids stuck on an island.

The Stones - Teenage angst.

Man that was a long time ago. I don't like fiction too tough.

Mine came straight off the shelf at a local store (Yes! We finally have books in my community! Honest: HUGE accomplishment... we haven't even a library, except for the one at the middle school!)

"Prior Bad Acts" by Tami Hoag... reoccurring characters; the search for an escaped killer.

"Message in a Bottle" by Nicolas Sparks. *sigh* Heart-wrenching tale of love found and 'lost'.

(I've read everything else they have on their shelves... I'm now re-reading "The Secret Life of Bees" by Sue Monk Kidd. highly recommended if you've not read it as yet.)
