Think of it as a short advert; some of the best filmmaking around is used in advertising at the moment.Rather than advertise a product, think of a concept that you feel passionate about, and then come up with a novel approach to expressing it in a short space of time.
Failing that nature'salways pretty inspirational; take a camera out just before dawn and take a series of images of a flower opening up to the sun.Take say 1 pic every 15 seconds and join the stills up into a stop motion animation. Fifteen seconds at 24 frames per second, you'll be done in an hour and a half

do a piece on "15 seconds at(school name)" and just record some everyday happenings at the school. Things you might have some personal opinions about. Other people expressing their views. People being people/ the good and the evil.

if you got a webcam, get a freeware stop-motion-animation program and make a claymation or stop animation lego film.
for 15 seconds, you could go about 12 FPS and need about 180 frames total. about an hours work if youve never done it before

This jogs my memory a great number of Vampire: The Masquerade - Bloodlines. that's a solid concern! The history sounds exciting (besides the undeniable fact that nuclear placed up-apocalyptic worlds are rather uncomplicated, you ought to objective to make yours greater idiosyncratic) And the races could wish a great number of character to lead them to exciting alongside your people. i like the assumption of your race making you a "objective". distinctly neat.

Time lapse of two snakes eating each other's tails. I always wondered how that would end.
