I mean...if the city towed it because it was parked on a yellow curb for too long.... do you go to the courthouse or somewhere else. Serious Question!!

Call the non-emergency police number. You will have to pay your fine and they will tell you which yard you can pick it up at. The towing company will have a tow and storage fee as well, and they usually only deal in cash. It is expensive.

Pay your fine first, then they will tell you where to pick it up, also you might need to pay impound fee & storage fees, so be prepared.
