Peyton hands down. You can't start a team from scratch without having a frachise QB to get things going. LT is great and all, no disrespect. But if you had a brain in your skull you would have to take Peyton

I have to agree with the majority. I would definitely go with Peyton because great quarterbacks are far more rare than great RBs. Lt is the best RB in the league and the thing about him is, he rarely ever gets injured. He has only missed a couple games in his career. But these days there are plenty of RBs that will get the job done for you (almost every team has a good RB and a lot of teams have 2 or 3). Of course very few if any of them can put up LT numbers, but most teams have an RB that can do enough to win and put up decent numbers behind a good OLine.

Manning is the smartest qb maybe ever and it is unreal how he runs an offense. Put that with his rocket arm and precision accuracy and this guy can take your team places for a long time. Sure, he isnt getting any younger, but the guy has 10 years left in him as long as he stays healthy.

This question is a no brainer. LT might be more of an explosive player with a younger body, but good RBs are a dime a dozen these days, good qbs are a little more rare.

Peyton.

The QB will touch the ball more times than any other quality player, so you need to have that position locked down. Yes I think Peyton is the best QB in the NFL, so this might be biased. He rund one of the most complicated offenses in the league and only one coach has been able to rattle him.

Having LT is like having that one golf club in your bag that you know you can go to, to make the tough shot. Peyton is the golfer and I bet he would be willing to give up all his receivers to have LT in his bag.

LT - he's younger ,a franchise player, can build around him, prevents other teams from isolating passing games,
if it was mannings 2 or 3 season id have to give him the edge but the way things stand right now i gotta go with LT.

LT would be a better fantasy pick, but Peyton is still the best player in the NFL, no matter what.

No brainer give me the qb.

He touches the ball more. Case in point how many times then LT get to the super bowl or to the playoffs without a good qb?

I can't remember. Another perfect example is barry sanders. He is and was the best rb of all time and he couldn't carry the lions on his back to the promise land. Remember Scott Mitchell they got to the playoffs with him.

LT by a long shot. manning still struggles in the playoffs. he 3 interceptions a game each playoff game even in this previous playoff series. his defense saved him on that one. LT is a great running back and the best teams have strong running games.

Manning, and I'm a Chargers fan. There are tons of decent RBs floating around in the free agent market (like look at how easily the Jets got Thomas Jones), but it's really hard to find a good QB.

as great as LT is, i think i would take peyton because i think it generally takes longer for a qb to get acclimated in the NFL than a RB. besides you can find great RBs in the draft, but you cant always find great QBs in a draft.
