Unfortunately, big on a big body won't make it look small.
If the fit its right that's what counts, in a tee shirt, you should first make sure you have a good bra, one that supports, but doesn't make 'waves' on your back. The shirt should be loose enough so that it skims your figure, not so tight that it goes in and out and shows every dimple. The sleeve should be long enough to cover the ample upper arm area.
Its too big, if it touches no part of your body and 'pleats' around you.
To style it up a bit, I would use cuff bracelets in a rope or openwork style and unless you are tall do not, repeat, not wear shorts or crop pants as they make you look shorter
and fatter. That's one style that can stay with the skinnies.

I am a plus sized girl and I try to stay away from "loud" prints. That shirt doesn't look so flashy, so I don't think it would draw very much unwanted attention. I looove stripes, but I have to be really carful with them since my stomach is the widest part of my body. If you have second thoughts about it, make sure to return it before its too late, but personally I think the shirt looks fine.

After looking at that shirt, I would say that it would look just fine. As long as the shirt is the proper size and not pulling and stretching, I don't think it will bad. Also, I've heard that shiney fabric can be unflattering as well, so I would advise staying away from those, but that shirt didn't look shiney, so I guess you don't really have to worry about that.
As long you are comfortable in the shirts and feel good in them, wear them, and people will think you look great too.

They will. Any big print will make anyone bigger. I would suggest you go for shirts that are either tailored with darts going lengthwise with the torso, under the bust (although these would probably be uncomfortable in the summer months, especially if you're in a warmer climate), thin pinstripes, or a small print.
Cute kitten, btw.

If you want to be comfortable, hang out at home say, or work in the garden, it would be fine. But I find that t-shirts don't do anything flattering for the full figure, they have a masculine effect, (not playing up the good parts) and after a couple of washings look cheap. I tend to use them to sleep in for thier comfort.

Yes they do tend to make you look bigger.
Go for solid colors and v-necks.
