I honestly couldn't decide, there have been far too many to mention, and sometimes the quote goes by so fast it doesn't register for a minute and then you find yourself laughing and missing another Hunt classic. So sorry that we are down to 2 episodes left, I did hear a rumour that they will be keeping the shows 70's format running, I guess just without Sam, don't know how true that is, but would still like to have DCI Hunt on our screens a bit longer, bet the American version will be pants though, they just wont get the irony of it all.

OK it's not a Hunt quote but how bloody funny was the end of last nights episode. The pair of them in hysterics when the nurse threatened to call the police. It's totally un PC but it's absolutely the best programme on the box for years. It bounces from vicious black humour to sci fi and back to serious so fast it blows me away. My mate is Asian , and he reckons that it's brilliant too. He argues that this is the real world, there are racist people why try to hide it.

I think the anything happens this motor one is great. I will miss Life on Mars so much when it ends - Gene Hunt is a fantastic character.

Just bought series one and going to settle down with it later. Best programme for ages and I loved last week when Sam told Hunt to stay the **** out of Camberwick Green. Brilliant!

Actually i thought last night when he said "you're about as much use as a spastic in a magnet factory."
It was outrageously un-PC, but they get away with it because the 70s weren't PC were they.
