computer wants java script updated?

My computer wont let me into my home page, it keeps telling me i have to update java script. I have tried to do as told go to tools select internet and then i am baffled, i dont seem to have anything it tells me to enable

Go to Control Panel > Add/Remove Programs and uninstall any Java RUntimes you have installed, then go to www.java.com and install the latest version.
