No amit,
Indian education is far better than some of the other leading foreign education institutes.

The only thing that is disappointing in Indian educational system is - it is not accessible for all! How many poor guys get into IIT / IIM's ?

But, allowing FDI will only further complicate the issue.

No. Look at the West, the best Universities are those that are non-profit. People laugh at education that has investors.

India can accept foriegn funding in the form of grants from multi-national companies, just like Western Universities accept foreign grants. But investment implies for profit education, which is open to corruptness.

ok its a difficult one to decide
there are some advantages and disadvantages by allowing fdis in education sector
advanteges are it will surely improves the quality of our education and gives us a chance to explore to the methods of teaching and other techniques which are following other devoloped countries.
some disadvanteges are that now our governments are neglecting education system . there is no patrongae for the education . and no proper funds are allocated for the education sector. in our country no of universities are very low compare to the other developing countires like china and other latin ameerican countries.
by these fdis in education sector surely will give a chance to government to forget about the education system. cos they will think that any way ther are other universities which are in eduation field. and it will encourages the corporate education culture in inida.

the fdis in education sectors should help the people who are really in need and they should give some quota to poor students . gov should bring such laws. then only it will be good toher wise its useless and it will become burden on people
