I believe all the opinion givers here are standing at different platform facing at different angle and looking at the same question – that’s why everyone is having a different point of view. Another reason could be because many are not gurus, rishi’s, saints, fakirs or priest who can actually walk the talk and talk the walk.

This is a question and needs an answer – that’s the purpose of everything involved. But I see many opinion givers, advisers, point of views debaters and commenter’s who reluctantly debate more on the question or the asker or GOD or simply nonsense.

I know the answerers in this Q/A session are mostly inexperience youth or teenagers , I’m a professional myself who got this question through email – only then I was told that one can evaluate the participants career or studies as they have time for such in Internet . I know my career I don’t have the time

I’ve answered this question before over here.

For us living in India, the most powerful temple is the one with the most powerful loudspeakers mounted on top. If these loudspeakers are used between 3:00 and 6:00 AM they are reckoned to be the best temples.

Also look for the fattest Priests. This is a true indication that the Gods favour such a temple. The more beggars there are milling around with self-inflicted twisted and broken limbs, the more grime and dirt, the more consistent noise... why that is certainly the best temple.

The most famous and powerful temple in India is Vaishno Devi Mandir which is in Kashmir, and it is very difficult to reach there because it is on the peak of one of the highest mountains in India. The Most famous and Powerful God is God Vishnu who has taken 9 incarnations in the world and they all are worshipped here, he is the most generous as well and very beautiful, though some people think that Lord Shiva is the most powerful god and Some think that Goddess Durga is the most powerfull goddess. It has been described in the "Puranas" that once Goddess Durga was angry with other gods and she started devastating everything and every other God requested her to stop.
Every Prayer that comes out of heart is very powerfull if your heart is pure, though it is considered that "Gayatri Mantra" is the most powerful prayer. Some people also think it is " Hanuman Chalisa" and then comes the "Ganesh Vandana" which is enchanted to start any "Pooja"
Hope you are satisfied with these answers, though I am not a Hindu but I know about it because i am an Indian.

Hi,

I dont want to offend you but here is what i have analyzed so far...

First of all if you say 'The Most Powerful' Temple or GOD, then that means there are GRADES of GOD. This implies that there is a MORE powerful GOD and a LESSER one.

Which is INCORRECT. Because Almighty GOD is ONE. And if there were many GODs then definitely there would have been divine wars.

Even True Hinduism is against 'Pantheism' and is against Idol worship.

Almighty GOD is ONE, call HIM by any name. But it should be a Beautiful one WITHOUT any Mental picture.

What we say that there is ONE GOD means HE is the same GOD for Muslims, Christians, Jews, Hindus, Athiests, Buddhists and all mankind.

Because GOD is ONE and for all mankind.

Therefore, if you say ALLAH, ELI, ELIAH, BRAHMA, all refer to GOD. We can best understand this from the Hindu Scripture example.

Hindus say GOD is Brahma. Which if translated into English means 'The Creator' and if translated into Arabic means 'Khaliq'

Therefore if you call Almighty GOD as 'The Creator' OR 'Khaliq' OR 'Brahma' it is ONE and the SAME.

BUT...

The trouble arises when the Hindus ascribe features to GOD that are NOT worthy for GOD. For example, they say Brahma is the GOD who has 10 heads, so and so hands, etc...

And this goes against the fundamentals of Islam, Judaism and Christianity (As per the Gospel of Barnabas) and even True Hinduism itself (Vedas are against this)...

Therefore, All religions speak about Monotheism BUT the True essence of Monotheism has now remained in Islam only as...

1. The Church has fabricated the Trinity and mis-lead the Chirstians from the True message of Jesus Christ (Peace Be Upon Him)

2. The Hindus do NOT read the Vedas and practice Idol worship which is against their own scriptures.

So if you have some problems, it WONT be solved through temples. Problems come from the CREATOR so pray to the ONE and ONLY CREATOR.

But pray to HIM as HE commanded you free from any Association with material.

People believe a lot in lord Venkateswara swami (Lord Vishnu) of Tirupati... his idol is installed in a golden temple on the seven hills of Tirumala in southern India…

The entire temple exterior surface is covered with thick sheets of gold with intricate carvings... lord Venkateswara has a gold crown worth Rs 30,000,000 studded with diamonds and rubies that was designed by Indian jewelry designers and crafted in France... it was then carried on a chartered plane from Paris to India... it is a huge golden temple... the temple administration have made excellent arrangements of accommodation for tens of thousands of devotes suitable for all walks of life... the accommodation includes luxury AC suits...

You need to land at Chennai airport... from Chennai you may go to Tirupati by road or by train... from Tirupati town there are buses run by the temple administration for the golden temple situated on top of the Tirumala hills...

All the international tourist agencies have travel packages for Tirupati… you may consult any such agency in your town / city and they would let you know about the packages… happy pilgrimage…

All Gods are equal; it depends on your inner faith and remember your ATMAN is the most powerful. You say you are a Hindu and well versed in the religion but it seems otherwise.

If you pray to a certain deity you should ask help from him only do not go around asking help from all gods. Our religion asks us to do our Karma without waiting for the result since the outcome may be positive or negative depending on different situations but if you believe in yourself and your hard work you will win.

You need not ask help from any god if you believe in him and your own self i.e. your Atman he will certainly help you without asking but than these believe should be pure and free from this entire asking thing. Remember, God Helps Them Who Help Themselves.

But, if you need some psychological support visiting some good temple is certainly helpful. You can try Venketshwar Balaji in South or Nathdwara in Rajasthan or Mata Vaishno Devi in Kashmir. These are the most visited temples in India, which one you chose depends on your faith, but believe me do not ask for anything material but ask for support in what you do and ask the god to be with you always, to be a guide and mentor, to be your Atman’s guide and you will find positive results. Give a certain percentage of your profits / earning to the trust of temple you visit and let them use it for poor and needy this will also help you a lot.

I hope my reply will help in clearing much confusion in your mind and guide you to the right path.

The powerful prayer is one that make a person free from fear, resignation and cynicism. With that prayer a person is in love with nature, people, country and world.
For me when I listen and recite Vande Matram and Jan gan man these make me free from fear, resignation and cynicism. I am Powerful again. Greatest temple in this world is my own inner self. Till the time I keep on fighting with myself I donot get peace anywhere and moment I be at peace with myself and forgive myself and others and stop making me small, I am calm. That works perfectly for me and I hope it will work for you too.
All the best

If you have a faith in GOD, then no need to go anywhere. He is inside you. Just you have to improve your will power. Every day do meditation and pray to him. He will listen you. It is sure.

I wish you all the best and come over from your problems.

OM SHANTI.
