I work in the industry so this is what happens:
1. Stylist to put them in their clothes & arrange accessories
2. Hair stylist & Makeup/Groomer
3. Lighting specialist
4. Professional Photographer
Then the photoes are retouched. Photoshoped. Maybe take out a blemish or make a scar go away.
So they have a lot of help. It's not real. Paparazzi shots are real though...

its just clever photo editing. They had something about that on the news one night, and were showing that magazines (not all) use celebrity look a-likes to take pictures of.

Nah they are airbrushed. In some magazines they have paparazzi shots of celebs on the beach. In those photos you can see imperfections such as cellulite and stuff.

Photo Editing.
NONE of the celebrities would like to be shown as "real".
Too many defects, cellulite and all of that.
That's why... when you see the real photos on other magazines... you can REALLY compare!!!

isn't it sad?!
