roughly? I just made 30 points.. and 10 mins later they took them away from me for 3 of my questions. The worst thing is it was a "GENUINE" question and I had to ask it like 5 times just for it to get posted. Grr lol x

I have only had one violation. And that was when I first came onto YA and didn't understand all the rules. Of course, I am not innocent either. I am sure some of my answers could have earned me a violation.

ive been lucky so far but from what ive read on here you can get one for the slightest thing. Thats weird especially when sometimes its obvious that people should be booted and yet nothing happens to them...ah well the good guys always finish last eh?

Yes, it seems the more genuine a question, the more likely you are to have it removed.
I get about 1 a week

3 times average.. but there was that one time when me and some dude was having a little dispute and every time id answer his questions id get violated even if the answer made perfect sense.. VIOLATION NATION

i get 3 or 4 a week, its sooo annoying trying to buuild up points and they take them away because of an innocent question you ask!!

i have NEVER had ONE lol but Ive only started on The 26th of march with only 40+ posts...
but i do watch what I'm saying, and try (when ever possible) give a balanced answer, with a slight bit of one "sidedness" lol

I've never had one. Some people seem to get a lot and for the littest things. It seems very weird. I answered a Q last night where a girl was reported for LOL ......huh?? Craziness!!

I've had two violations since I started here last November. Maybe you just need to rephrase your answers a little or maybe you're just the victim of a troll...

I have been doing this since September and I have gotten three violations all similar to what you described. None of the three were legitimate violations. Oh well.
