hi
first of all it is ASA case
angle , side and angle
the first angle and the side are both given
the third angle is the vertically opposite angles
so we can choose a or c
for c ) the letters are not arranged correctly
a) the letters are arranged such that each angle in same order as its corresponding
so right choice is (a)

answer is a)..

Because it is given that angH=angL..so we got the first A.

Then, HJ=JL..it is the side..so,the order should be AS..

then, from the diagram we know that IL and KH intersect so the angles formed are the same to both sides..

now,we have another A..

the order should be ASA..

and the question asked why ΔHIJ=ΔLKJ...

in any triangle..if we already know two of the angle we can calculate the 3rd angle..then if two of the angles are similar to the other triangle, the third one must be similar as well..

and when all the three angles are the same, the triangle is congruent to the other triangle..

ok,i hope this will help..

Answer is a.
The angle H = angle L because it is Given.
The sides HJ and JL are = because it is given.
The abgle HJI = angle LJK because vertical angles are =
Therefore triangle HIJ congruent triangle LKJ by ASA.
