Everyone handles death differently. No one should judge you,
and you should not feel bad. After long illnesses, sometimes you are very happy that someone has passed on. They are finished suffering and no more pain, going to a better place.
At least you are not being a hypocrite, if you did not care for this person and you have your own feelings.

Everyone deals with sadness and loss in a different way. Don't feel bad if you don't cry, the tears may come later for you. You have to deal with this loss in your own way. Try to remember the good times and good memories with this person and keep them with you in your heart. There is no right or wrong way to grieve. I wish you well.

Death is a sad thing. You must deal with your emotions and break down so you can let the hurt feelings out. Keeping them bottled up inside will only depress you in the long run. Everyone needs to mourn, then get on with life. It will haunt you later on if you don't. Cocoa

We all deal with death differently, in our own way. My aunt completely falls apart at the seams, while I, like you, have trouble crying in front of others. Don't worry about it. It's uncomfortable, I know, been there done that, but as your family, I'm sure they understand.

Crying is cleansing, true, but not everybody cries...at least not easily. We can feel deep sadness and not shed a tear! Being true to who you are, and not just for 'appearances, is the most important thing a person can be. If you feel sad, your face will show it...if not, well, so be it. We can't, shouldn't fake the way we feel. It is important to respect how the others feel...let them cry, pat them on the back, let them know you are there for them. Listen to their pain.

maybe it just hasnt hit you yet. but dont feel guilty no matter what . as far as how i dealt man i cried like a baby when i lost my great grandma and still think about her to this day.it shouldnt be a sad time really as we tend to think that whomever died has gone on to a better place where there is no pain and suffering . so i guess we are really supposed to be happy that they have gone on,ahead of us ! i am sorry to hear you have lost someone i hope that this helps you deal with your loss in some little way. go with god my friend.

I had 2 children die and hardly anyone of my 8 brothers and sisters cried ....it broke my heart...but now I think that some people just don't have empathy or they feel funny cryinng infront of people...who kknows but...you do NOT have to cry....but you need to give out hugs...say sorry ..atleast...if my sisters and brothers would atleast of done that I would of felt better about them not crying...if you are a GUY...you may feel it isn't manly too....just do the best you can...if you can't hug..say aorry or a kind word....like..I'm here is you need me..something like that! GOod luck! So sorry about your loss....

Everyone deals with death differently. It's not that you aren't sad, that is just your way to deal with it. So don't feel guilty.
