20-40 gallon tank for a leopard gecko is there ne web sites ive been looking in the papers and in pet stores the 1s in the pet stores r 2 expansive and papers dont even have none

If you don't care that it's a used tank...You can find reptile specialty shops, they get rid of their older tanks for very low prices.
Do a reptile shop search in your area and see if you have one. Just make sure they give you a screen lid with it, but that would be the cheapest way to go.
Other than that, try to get one off of ebay, you might get a good deal there....

Petco has really chap aquariums where I live. I bought a 10 gallon for $5.00. I got a 29 gallon for $50.00. I got a 40 gallon long for $100.00. You can keep 2 adult leopard geckos in a 10 gallon tank.

in pet stores a tank that size is not very expensive, especially considering ordering one online you would have to pay shipping and an item that size to ship would be very expensive (more than the cost of a new one from pet shop) your best bet is to keep checking yard sales or thrift stores in your area. and save up your money for a new tank, and remember that with a new tank you'll need a higher wattage basking light too, and you'll also want to check your light fixture to make sure it is capable of handling a higher wattage light if not you'll need a new fixture too. and if you have a under tank heater you will need a new one of those too because you cant take the old one off then re-stick it to new tank, plus a larger tank needs a larger UTH.

do you have the gecko now? If you can't afford the tank, then you won't be able to afford the actual gecko or the supplies. I suggest an animal that does not cost that much money, like a hermit crab.
