I read a 665 page book of his private conversations. He expressed a contempt for Christianity, a surprising admiration for Islam, and did believe in a Supreme Being, more than one expressing that he thought atheism was bad for society.

Adolf Hitler was nominally Roman Catholic for most of his life but he actually planned to destroy the Christian religion after he finished with the Jews. He delved deeply into the Occult and it appears he was planning to revert his "Thousand Year Empire" into a sort of Aryan/Nordic animist religion. Remember that he believed that genetically pure Aryans were effectively gods on their own which is the basis for Nazi genetic engineering. I'd recommend the excellent History Channel documentary on the Nazi's Occult history (sorry can't remember the name of it offhand) and you can find many of Hitler's beliefs CLEARLY outlined in Mein Kampf.

While it's true Hitler was born into a Roman Catholic family, as an adult, Hitler specifically rejected the Catholic Church, as well as Christianity in general. He described himself as "a complete pagan".

Like Me (Aesir) only the Germanic versions Thor (where Thursday comes from) is Donner (yes that is where the raindeer gets his name) And Odin is Wotan ( yes where Wednesday comes from). He would have destroyed the church Hence the reason the POPE was so interested in coddling him. We are Warriors.......

He said he was Christian in Mein Kampf. I think he was a lunatic no different than Osama bin Ladin and the radical islamic muslims of today. This is WHY we cannot let our guard down.

He was into mysticism. Big on astrology and mystical symbols. The Nazi movement even tried to raise him to a godlike status.
NOT Christian - he was anti-church.
