DEFINITELY read "Go Ask Alice" and take note of the message.
If you are interested in biographies, then there are heaps out there.
"Slave" - Mende Nazer
"Burned Alive" - Souad
"I Choose to Live" - Sabine Dardenne
"Sold into Marriage: One Girl's Living Nightmare" Sean Boyne
"It Happened to Nancy: The True Story of a Teenager" - Beatrice Sparks
These are not for the emotionally immature or younger person, so ask your parents what they think. These stories tell of the torment that girls have undergone at the hands of callous people.
There are far more interesting books out there that would be more suitable for you.
Try some Jane Austen, Charlotte Bronte, Anne Bronte - the classics! Well-written literature is hard to beat.
Blessings, Gypsy Queen

You mean you want to read nonfiction books? Well, there are plenty of those... newer books like "True Stories: Girls' Inspiring Stories of Courage and Heart", and classics like "Diary of a Young Girl" by Anne Frank. Of course, it partially depends on your age.

those books are garbage. Start paying attention to your education and worry less about reading the sadistic adventures of children.
