Recently i have asked a question whether a girl likes a guy who is nice and talks about feelings or if she likes a guy being more confident funny and all that stereotypical guy stuff
i just wanted to know with any honest answers if thats how a guy should act if hes got to be all "guyish" and not really talk about feelings
because i ask my friends who are girls and they say different things but its mostly the same general idea they like guys who can talk about feelings
but then when i ask guys they say you gotta be all funny and cocky and stuff which i think is just stereotype but mabey im wrong
so what does a girl like then ?

i'll tell you this much -not many girls like cocky. it's a thin line between confidence and patting yourself on the back too often. if a guy is modest yet self confident, that's great. funny is nice - every girl likes to laugh. she doesnt want a boring stiff.
as for talking about feelings - nothing is wrong with it. just dont whine and cry about everything. if there is something on your mind that you really want to get out, then talk about it. everyone has feelings and it wont make you less of a man to share yours every once in a while. even the strong silent types break down and talk to someone about their problems.
above all, be respectful and kind and truthful. nothing is more beautiful than when a guy is his true self. not putting on acts to be cool in front of his friends. i hate when a guy does that - he knows as soon as his buddies leave, he's gonna have a mad chick on his hands and then he's gonna have to do some mad groveling at her feet. avoid all of this and be true.

hummm im going to try to type with and make sense at the same time....
the guy im with now, is completely open with how he feels, and i love it.... It takes out any questions we have about how we feel about each other... and with him being that way... it is alot easier for me to talk to him about things.... The EX on the other hand was the opposite.... and seemed like he only showed his feelings in Bed... and it created problems.... Guyish is great when you need to have help around the house fixing things, or when you need to feel protected but when it's you and him, i think the guards should be down....
But hey, i think every girls likes a little something different...

Personally, I feel that a guy shouldn't be too emotional or talk too much about his feelings. I think that what most girls want is a guy that will just be himself. All girls have a different opinion of "the perfect guy". So, what do girls like? Depends on the girl. Just be yourself so that when you find a girl you don't have to spend the rest of the relationship trying to be what she likes because she will already like you.

in case u didnt know already girls are fussy and will prob prefer something in between,
i am attracted more to funny and cocky but want a guy that would be nice and talk about feelings when he is with me.
...maybe thats why i am single, just too fussy

They're all different, dude. And I dated 'em all, too. My first girl was the super-sappy emotional romantic type who wanted to talk about feelings (then it turned out that we weren't meant to be), the second was the dramatic type that wanted that strong macho guy (didn't work out because, well, I don't like working out), and the third liked when I was quiet... that lasted a while. Finally I met a girl who likes me for who I am... and that's what you need to find.

A girl likes diamonds. Big shiny diamonds. If she's a girl like me, she likes jewelry. Or maybe she likes a nice purse to show off when she's shopping. AND YOU DONT HAVE TO BE ALL FUNNY AND COCKY!
Girls like guys who help them out and comfort them in times of need.

i think in the beginning you should be confident and a little cocky. then when you know you got ther girl reveal your feelings. thats what i like about guys

Well don't listen to your guy friends because they are not girls so they don't know what we like. I'd agree with your friends that are girls. But all girls are different. But I can tell you that all of my friends would tell you the same thing. Listen to your friends that are girls. They are right. But just be yourself.

I like guys who are funny & manly, but also serious and will talk about their feelings with me when we are having a serious conversation. Def. do not like cocky guys who are full of themselves, its really not attractive.
