No. Everyone puts on such personas in a chat room that it's hard to know if the person you're talking to is even real. Plus, there is the added danger of meeting people in person that you have met online.

Actually, my sister-in-law is engaged to a guy she met in a yahoo chat room, although I think that's a rare thing.
