my mom was mad at me because i didn't want to spend my spring break babysitting my brother...so i was being really mean to her. then i went and got in the shower. when i came out my mom was freaking out, she said the something hit her bedroom door twice...and there was no one there who could have hit the door. i just made fun of her and laughed at her...i think she's gone crazy...i told her it was probably her dead great-grandpa....she's still all freaked out over the whole thing...

You may want to apologize. She is your mom after all and loves and supports you. You should have more respect for her imo. Babysitting your brother isn't the worse thing in the world.

Hey, as a mom I would hope you would be more respectful in the future. Her wrongs don't make it right for you to be disrespectful. I'm not saying she was right, but you were wrong in your reaction. If you want to be taken seriously as an adult, and your decisions to be taken seriously, you have to react respectfully, thoughtfully and reasonable. I am more willing to listen to my kids and accept thier decisions when they are calm, rational and respectful.

Yes that was mean.
Not as mean as MY father telling me that my Grandpa died, only to tell me a minute later he was joking! What an A$$hole

It means that you did not handle to situation very well. You were disrespectful to your mother, and her response to you in commensurate to your bad behavior. if you were to apologize to your mother, it would go a long ways to helping the matter out.

Yeah, it was mean. She was probably depending on you, and you were mean to her; then you made fun of her. I bet she's sad and stressed out to be so upset.

I think you should treat your mother with more respect, whether she raised you or not.

Wow.

What's it like to be the antichrist's mother, or brother for that matter?
