It provides gr8 entertainment.
It isn't historically accurate, but anyways it is based on Frank Miller's comic "300" which is his portrayal of the events that occurred at Thermopylae.

I thought that 300 was an EXCELLENT movie. It was very true to the graphic novel that it was based on!!! I'd watch it again and I'll probably buy it when it comes out on DVD

This is a movie about 300 constipated WWE men resisting a horde of misfits, shot in a studio setting with a lot of CGI and no natural settings.

it's nice entertainment. But they should just label it fiction cos the portrayal of persian army became a freak circus. If the spartans were real heroes, they should rescue the oracle girl from the lecherous 'wisemen' and just ask her to rally a decent army for them.

i went into that movie expecting action and not much plot, which is what the inten of the movie was supposed to be, this movie is the portrayl of the the story that the guy at the end told

I love love loved this movie! I saw it at the IMAX (2 x's) and once in reg theatre! I think that the action scenes were bad ***, the acting from Leonidas (jeff butler, i think) was great.. everything was great!

It isn't historically accurate, but extremely well filmed as well as a *pardon me..I have to say it* CGI wet dream. I've seen it twice so far and have plans to see it again next week w/ friends.
