After my grandmother and aunt on my father's side of the family passed away within 2 months of each other, my Daddy and I laid on a blanket in the backyard gazing up to the clouds. He did his best to explain life and death to me and then began to verbally paint a picture of the clouds...there sat my grandmother and aunt with their bare feet dangling off of a cloud.

My Daddy passed away just 2 years after his mother and sister and to this day when I miss him, I can go outside and look up to the clouds and see my Daddy sitting up there :)

We grew up on a farm, so there are TONS of funny farm stories I could tell you.

I spent an entire summer once stalking the pregnant barn cats around trying to find where they were hiding their kittens and when I finally found them, they were all mean and attacked me.

My mom would take me and my two brothers to eat ice cream every Sunday after Church. I loved this time with my mom. My Dad was killed when my mother was about 2 months pregnant with me. My brothers were 2 and 1. So, she tried to make everything just right for us. She would make us happy.

I loved going to family reunions when I was a kid because I had a lot of cousins around the same age as me and we all played together really well.
