Find the value of x:
log 169
over x 9 equals 2

log(169/x^9) =2

I suppose that it is x^9 and you forgot the sign power

log a/b = loga -logb and log x^9 = 9 logx

log 169 - 9log x =2

-9*log x = log 169-2=-0.2278

log x =0.025 x = 10^0.025=1.06

It's been a while, but if I'm not mistaken Log 169 = 2.2278867, and so X = .1237714, which when multiplied by 9, and divided into log169 is 2.

I might be on crack though - so doublecheck me.
